Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group just makes me smile! I so enjoy participating with this group on all types of restoration and plantings scenarios. Lucy DeGrace, Outreach Manager, captured me at a group event where seedlings were being potted for their plant nursery.
Please click into this very spontaneous interview and enjoy as this was a real first for me in sharing spontaneously!
My answer to her question of WHY I VOLUNTEER is a given for me …
My life is about what I am able to GIVE BACK!
In this case it is about restoration of habitat, being outside, and connecting with others of like mind. It’s about support for the natural environment and what that means for health and in support of creating and living in HEALTHY HOMES. Being able to plant, prune, and nurture gives me so much pleasure – especially when I know I’m making a difference and adding to the value of my community.
Are you living in a HEALTHY HOME, with a WELLNESS-FOCUSED LIFESTYLE?
Are you finding ways to connect with your environment, connect with your community, and GIVE BACK?
Let’s have a conversation about how I can help you find ways to do all that!
